In January 13th, in the production workshop of Xinjiang Yi Ling Knitting Co. Ltd., Aiguri Ayup from Kazakh village of kharata city in Akesu was weaving. Last year, with the support of the policy of benefiting the people, Aiguri Ayup went to Shanghai to learn how to make clothes, and based on her professional knowledge, she soon became a skilled garment worker. The company provided food and lodging, and with steady income, the life of Aiguri Ayup family has been greatly improved. Xinjiang Yi Ling Knitting Co., Ltd. settled in Akesu textile industrial city (Development Zone) in August 2017, with nearly 500 employees. In order to improve the post skills of employees, the company has implemented one to one support, and professional and technical personnel from Wuhan have been invited to hand in hand to recruit new recruits to improve their operational skills and labor efficiency. In 2020, the company plans to add more than 400 new jobs, and at the same time, it will drive more people to get rich.

Since 2014, according to the strategic layout of "three cities, seven gardens and one center" in the autonomous region's textile and garment industry, relying on the advantaged cotton resources and the location advantage of the southern Xinjiang center, the core of the textile and garment industry in Xinjiang has been built, and the surrounding counties (cities) have been radiated to form a "one city, four parks" development pattern, and to promote the development of the textile and garment industry in the region. In recent years, in the state and autonomous region, the development of textile and clothing driven employment policy has brought about a number of projects such as Hua Fushai spinning, Xie Yi textile, Lian FA textile, Jinli yuan dress and so on imported and put into operation in the region, promoting the rapid development of the regional textile and garment industry, gradually improving the ability of industrial resource allocation, expanding the scale of production capacity, improving the industrial chain, and constantly enhancing the competitive advantage of the textile and garment industry.

In 2019, the region vigorously supported and expanded the development of the textile and garment industry. It has formed 4 million 500 thousand spindles, 8000 million pieces (sets) of home textiles and 120 million meter weaving capacity, and initially built up the whole industrial chain of spinning, printing and dyeing, weaving, home textiles and clothing.
