2. 30 degree water temperature rinse.

First, place the down coat in cold water for 20 minutes, so that the down coat is fully moistened inside and outside.

Dissolve the detergent into 30 degrees of warm water, then put the down coat in it for a quarter of an hour, then gently brush it with a soft brush.

Rinsing also requires warm water, which is good for detergent to be fully dissolved in water, so that the down coat can be rinsed more cleanly.

3. The concentration of laundry detergent should not be too high.

If you must wash down the down coat with washing powder, usually two washbasin water is suitable for 4 to 5 tablespoon washing powder. If the concentration is too high, it is difficult to rinse clean. The washing powder remaining in the down will affect the fluffiness of the down and greatly reduce the warmth retention.

It is better to use neutral detergent.

Neutral detergents are the least harmful to clothing and eiderdown. Use alkaline detergent. If rinse is not clean, residual detergent will cause damage to the down coat and leave white marks on the surface of the clothes, which will affect the appearance.

Remove residual alkaline detergent. After rinsing for two times, add two teaspoons of vinegar into warm water, soak the down coat for a while and rinse. Vinegar can neutralize alkaline detergent.

You can't wring it dry.

After the down coat is washed, it must not be wrung dry. The water should be squeezed out, then paved or hung up to dry. No sun exposure or ironing is necessary to avoid scalding clothing.

After drying, you can gently pat, so that the down coat will be fluffy and soft.

There are four taboos for washing down and down coat.

One avoid alkaline substances; two avoid using washing machine stirring or rubbing with hands; three avoid wring; four avoid bright fire bake.

Proper storage method

If there is no obvious dirt on the down jacket, the new down jacket can not be cleaned, wrapped with breathable articles (such as finishing bags), put in a camphor ball to prevent moth eaten, and then stored in a ventilated and dry wardrobe.

There is much rain in summer and autumn. After the rainy season, it is better to hang out the down jacket to dry and prevent mildew. If mildew spots are found, it can be washed with cotton balls and cleaned with clean wet towels.
