The State Bureau of cultural heritage hopes to show the concept of the world cultural village through the theme of "what sustains you and me".
Chen Meiling, director of education and outreach Department of the State Administration of cultural heritage, said in an interview with our newspaper that China's new immigrants from all over the world, the concept of "World Cultural Village" will give people the opportunity to know the culture of new immigrants and provide an opportunity for Chinese people to interact with new immigrants.
Activities can also enable Chinese people to get close to the culture of some unfamiliar countries and regions.

This year's Singapore Cultural Heritage Festival will start from 11 to 22 this month.
It includes a three day (20 to 22) outdoor Carnival entitled "cultural heritage in the city"; six shopping centers such as Xinda, Xian De Fang, exploration treasure square, wujilban mansion, Yu Langfang and central Balu square also have a series of activities and performances.
The world traditional costume exhibition is one of the key projects. It will display the culture of 34 countries in public through 76 traditional costumes.
